Our Facilities

Brent Street’s recently renovated and world-famous studio complex is nestled in the heart of Sydney, Australia.

Located in the Entertainment Quarter at Fox Studios, Brent Street now features 15 purpose-built studios and 4 private singing rooms.

Each space is equipped with a combination of Tarkett and sprung flooring, professional-grade sound systems, and full-length mirrors, ensuring optimal safety, acoustics, and performance functionality.

Our facility also includes:

Kitchen facilities
High-speed Wi-Fi
Toilets across both buildings
On-site merchandise shop
Vending machines
Meeting and breakout room
Costume department
Dedicated Academy classroom

When not in use for Brent Street training programs, the studios are the entertainment industry’s preferred rehearsal and audition venue for major productions. It is not uncommon to encounter leading performers and creatives moving through the space.

Brent Street is also home to Focus Talent Management (adults) and Brent Street Agency (children), creating a direct bridge between training and professional representation.

More than a physical facility, the studios function as an energy hub of creative history and future potential. For hundreds of students, it is a second home. There is a consistent atmosphere of momentum, ambition, and artistic pursuit throughout the complex.

Getting to Brent Street

Public Transport
Students and visitors can travel to Brent Street via Light Rail or bus.

From Central Station, take:

Light Rail: L2, L3 or LX to Moore Park
Bus: 338, 374 or 376 to Moore Park

Disembark at the Moore Park Light Rail/Bus terminals, located a short walk from the Entertainment Quarter.

Driving & Parking
There is no dedicated on-site parking for students.

Street parking is available around the precinct, subject to availability.
Paid parking is available at the Entertainment Quarter Multi-Storey Wilson Car Park.

If hiring a studio and requiring vehicle access for production purposes, access must be arranged in advance with EQ Security and Brent Street Reception. Vehicle access is restricted and available only at approved times.

Finding the Studio
Upon entering the Entertainment Quarter:

Walk past El Camino, then Oporto, and continue past Hoyts Cinemas. Our studio building is located beyond Hoyts.

The main entrance is positioned on the right-hand side of the building.

Studio Hire

All of our ten studio spaces are available for private and commercial hire. Studios are hired individually at the following rate:

$105 + GST per hour (within standard trading hours)
$760 + GST day (day rate – 8 hours or more)
$145 + GST per hour (after hours, Mon-Fri, includes receptionist fee)
$165 + GST per hour (after hours, Sat-Sun, includes receptionist fee)

Our Private Singing Studios are also available for hire, however only within standard studio trading hours. P1/P2 are hired at the following rate:

$60 + GST per hour (within standard trading hours)

Studio One

Dimensions: 14m x 10m
Size: 144m²
Features: Studio 1 is our most iconic studio, flooded with natural light in a warehouse-conversion. High ceilings, natural light, sprung floors, light grey tarkett, speaker system (3.5mm aux jack), portable ballet barres and tables/chairs on request

Studio Two

Dimensions: 16.5m x 9m
Size: 148.5m²
Features: White walls, artificial light/minimal windows, sprung floors, light grey tarkett, speaker system (3.5mm aux jack), an upright piano, portable ballet barres and tables/chairs on request

Studio Three

Dimensions: 16.5m x 9m
Size: 148.5m²
Features: Large rear windows/doors with direct outside access, sprung floors, dark grey tarkett, speaker system (3.5mm aux jack), portable ballet barres and tables/chairs on request

Studio Four

Dimensions: 14m x 10m
Size: 144m²
Features: Studio 4 is one of our most iconic studios, with an abundance of natural light in a rustic warehouse-conversion. High ceilings, direct access via rear glass doors natural light, sprung floors, dark grey tarkett, speaker system (3.5mm aux jack), portable ballet barres and tables/chairs on request

Studio Five

Dimensions: 17m x 7.7m
Size: 130.9m²
Features: Studio 5 is designed to be double as a Black Box Theatre. Black-out drapes cover floor to ceiling windows and curtains to cover mirrors can be installed on request. High ceilings (double storey), external access via fire exit, sprung floors, black tarkett, an upright piano, speaker system (3.5mm aux jack), portable ballet barres and tables/chairs on request.

Studio Six

Dimensions: 18.4m x 10.1m
Size: 171m²
Features: Our largest studio. Studio 6 has two load-bearing poles in the centre and is best utilisted for acrobatics, singing or acting classes. Various acro equipment (crash mat, tracks, wedge, spring board etc), sprung floors, black tarkett, speaker system (3.5mm aux jack), a powered keyboard, portable ballet barres and tables/chairs on request.

Studio Seven

Dimensions: 10.7m x 10.3m
Size: 110m²
Features: Studio 7 has two load-bearing poles in the centre and is flooded with natural light. Includes basic acrobatic/conditioning equipment and a multi-functional fixed gym machine. Sprung floors, black tarkett, speaker system (3.5mm aux jack), a powered keyboard, fixed ballet barres (around perimeter) and tables/chairs on request.

Studio Eight

Dimensions: 9.6m x 6.5m
Size: 62.4m²
Features: Studio 8 is our most private studio, with all external glass frosted. Studio 8 is our only studio with exposed timber floorboards and features an abundance of natural light. Portable speaker system (3.5mm aux jack & bluetooth), an upright piano, 2x portable ballet barres and tables/chairs on request.

Studio Nine

Dimensions: 10.4m x 5.5m
Size: 57m²
Features: Studio 9 is located upstairs in our front building. Portable speaker system (3.5mm aux jack & bluetooth), an upright piano and tables/chairs on request.

Studio Ten

Dimensions: 10.4m x 5.6m
Size: 58m²
Features: Studio 10 is located upstairs in our front building. Portable speaker system (3.5mm aux jack & bluetooth), a powered keyboard and tables/chairs on request.

Private Singing Room 1 (P1)

Dimensions: 2.8m x 1.8m
Size: 5m²
Features: P1 is a sound-treated room for private vocal lesson. Speaker system (3.5mm aux jack), a powered keyboard and music stand.

Private Singing Room 2 (P2)

Dimensions: 2.8m x 3.1m
Size: 11.5m²
Features: P2 is a sound-treated room for private vocal lessons. Speaker system (3.5mm aux jack), a powered keyboard and music/microphone stands.

Academic Classroom

Dimensions: 10.4m x 6.2m
Size: 64.5m²
Features: Our Academic Classroom features space for 35 students, plus a full-size whiteboard, flatscreen TV, multi-function printer and teacher’s desk. Currently this space is not available for hire.

Meeting Room/Breakout Space

Dimensions: 3.5m x 2.3m
Size: 8m²
Features: Our Meeting Room/Breakout space is configured with 2 desks (seating up to 2 people at each) and a multi-function printer. Currently this space is not available for hire.

Reception

Features: Our Reception area is home to our lovely Front of House staff, who are here to make your time at our studios as pleasant as possible! You can update your details, purchase merchandise and book tickets to events by speaking to one of our staff.

The reception area and surrounding hallways are common areas and not included or exclusive to any studio hire.

Our reception is relatively small, given the number of students passing through, so we ask that parents/students do not congregate inside unless speaking to a reception staff member.

Availability is limited on weekday afternoons and Saturdays during school terms.
Best availability is typically Sundays and school holidays.

If your requested studio is available, a payment link will be issued.
Studio hire is not confirmed until full payment has been received via the payment link.

Cancellations & Refunds

In order to accommodate external hires, we often adjust surrounding classes and teacher allocations. For this reason, once a booking is confirmed and paid, cancellations are non-refundable.

Use of Space

Studio hire includes access to the allocated studio only.

Common areas, including reception and hallways, remain operational and may be used by Brent Street students, staff, or other external hirers during your booking. If you require additional space for registration, waiting areas, or breakout rooms, an additional studio must be booked.

While we take measures to minimise noise transfer between studios, please note that our studios are not soundproof.
