THIS CAMP, WE’RE TAKING THINGS UP A NOTCH WITH 2 TICKET TYPES…
Each day commences at 9:30am (9am arrival on Day 1 of each week) and finishes at 3:30pm (we close at 4pm). Each day contains 5x 1-hour classes with an industry-leading dance teacher/choreographer; full timetable is released closer to the day. Throughout the intensive, teachers will be on the look out for hardworking and fierce dancers to win a scholarship to the 2022 Autumn Intensive, so be ready to break a sweat!
This program is suitable for 7 – 18-year-old students of intermediate to advanced level. Of course, if you’re outside of the age range but ready to give it a go, you’re more than welcome!
Please note, due to the teachers’ demanding schedule, staff are subject to change at any time. If we do have to replace a staff member, we will let you know and offer an awesome replacement! It’s best to bring all of your shoes/clothes each day. Not all teachers teach both for weeks, however teachers who teach across both will teach different class content (for those who attend both weeks).
At Brent Street we are committed to the inclusion and recognition of all; regardless of race, age, culture, ability, ethnicity, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, marital status or religious affiliation. As an inclusive environment, we have zero tolerance for bullying and exclusion. If you’re feeling uncomfortable at any time, please see a staff member as soon as possible. Uniqueness is powerful; without it we wouldn’t be where we are today. So, be yourself – we like you that way.
We encourage students to prepare lunch, including snacks and water to get you through the day. The workshop is physically demanding so it’s vital that you fuel your body with nutritious foods and plenty of water. The Entertainment Quarter, in which we are located, offers a variety of food and beverage vendors, however please be aware that only ages 12+ are permitted to leave Brent Street during the lunch break. 12 years and under will be supervised in our internal quadrangle.
Brent Street is a wonderful place and we are excited to share a little bit of the magic with you at the workshop! See you there!
