WE ARE HITTING THE ROAD!
After a sold-out tour in 2020 (which had to be cancelled due to COVID), we are hitting the road again – bigger and better than before!
We are heading to 9 cities across Australia and for the first time ever, heading to New Zealand!
PARIS CAVANAGH – CASSIE BARTHO – MATTHEW GODE – LUCAS NEWLAND
PERTH – 6 APRIL
BRISBANE – 7 APRIL
COFFS HARBOUR – 8 APRIL
PORT MACQUARIE – 9 APRIL
NEWCASTLE – 10 APRIL
CANBERRA – 11 APRIL
ADELAIDE – 12 APRIL
HOBART – 13 APRIL
MELBOURNE – 14 APRIL
AUCKLAND – 17 APRIL
WELLINGTON – 18 APRIL
Each tour destination will be treated to three classes with some of our key Brent Street teachers: Paris Cavanagh, Cassie Bartho and Matthew Gode. Lucas Newland, our Managing and Creative Director, will host an industry Q&A – the perfect inside scoop to life at Brent Street and the Sydney/Australian dance industry.
The workshop doubles as an opportunity for prospective 2022 Full Time/Academy students to audition for our courses and apply for a scholarship or bursary. The three classes will act as your audition and we will grab you for a quick interview at the end of the day!
We want you to book with confidence. Rest assured, if anything happens that renders us unable to visit a destination (such as travel restrictions), full refunds will be issued.
Please note, while there is no strict age-limit on this tour classes will be aimed at an intermediate to advanced level. We recommend ages 12+, however if you’re a little younger but up for the challenge – we’d love to have you join us!
Classes include jazz, contemporary and commercial jazz styles. While our teachers are secured prior to the tour, they are heavily in-demand and may change at any time. If this occurs, we will be sure to let attendees know!
At Brent Street we are committed to the inclusion and recognition of all students, parents, guardians, employees, contractors and suppliers; regardless of race, age, culture, ability, ethnicity, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, marital status and religious affiliation. As an inclusive environment, we have zero tolerance for bullying and exclusion. If you’re feeling uncomfortable at any time, please see a staff member or reception as soon as possible. Uniqueness is powerful; without it we wouldn’t be where we are today. So, be yourself – we like you that way.
We encourage students to pack their own lunch, including snacks and water to get you through the day. The workshop is physically demanding, so it’s vital that you fuel your body with nutritious foods and plenty of water. No nuts are permitted at Brent Street events at any time – many of our attendees and staff are allergic.
Brent Street is a wonderful place and we are excited to bring a little bit of the magic to you on our tour! See you there!
