When is it?

15th – 17th April 2024

Each day commences at 9:30am (9am arrival on Day 1) and finishes at 3:30pm (we close at 4pm). Each day contains 5x 1-hour classes with an industry-leading dance teacher/choreographer; full timetable is released on Day 1 of each week.

Teachers may differ slightly from week to week due to their availabilities and we are unable to confirm this until the workshop commences. We always ensure that most choreographers teach across both weeks!

Who can come to this workshop?

This program is suitable for 7 – 18-year-old students of intermediate to advanced level. Of course, if you’re outside of the age range but ready to give it a go, you’re more than welcome!

What do I need to bring?

We encourage attendees to wear what they feel comfortable to dance in. Activewear or the Brent Street merchandise (can be purchased at reception) is a great place to start!

Due to the teachers’ demanding schedule, staff and styles are subject to change at any time. If we do have to replace a staff member, we will let you know and offer an awesome replacement! It’s best to bring all of your shoes/clothes each day, in case there is a last minute change.

We encourage students to prepare lunch, including snacks and water to get you through the day. The workshop is physically demanding so it’s vital that you fuel your body with nutritious foods and plenty of water. The Entertainment Quarter, in which we are located, offers a variety of food and beverage vendors, however please be aware that only ages 12+ are permitted to leave Brent Street during the lunch break. 12 years and under will be supervised in our internal quadrangle.

I can no longer attend the workshop - what do I do?

We book and allocate the teachers based on the number of camp tickets sold. Therefore, we do not offer credits or refunds if you are no longer able to attend. If you wish, you may transfer your ticket into someone else’s name and sell the ticket on yourself – just let us know so we can update our records.

If you’re no longer able to attend the workshop due to COVID-19 or other serious injury/illness, please supply us with your doctor’s certificate and/or positive test result and we will be happy to organise a credit for a future workshop.
