Brent Street’s WINTER Camp
5th – 9th July 2027
Unleash at our epic Winter Camp, a 5-day dance workshop with Australia’s best choreographers. You’ll leave the workshop feeling inspired and pumped, exposed to a whole new range of styles and teachers, ready to smash your dance goals for Term 3 and beyond. We welcome students from all studios across the world to enjoy our Winter Camp. It’s so much more than just dance classes; it’s an experience of making friends, a physical challenge and inspiring teachers!
Throughout the intensive, teachers will be on the look out for hardworking dancers to win a scholarship to the 2027 Spring Camp (held in September school holidays), so be ready to break a sweat!

When is it?
The 2027 Winter Camp runs Monday 5th – Friday 9th July inclusive.
Each day commences at 9:30am (8:30am arrival for rego on Day 1) and finishes at 3:30pm (we close at 4pm).
Each day contains 5×1-hour classes with an industry-leading choreographers.
Who can come to this workshop?
This program is suitable for 7 – 18-year-old students of intermediate to advanced level. Of course, if you’re outside of the age range but ready to give it a go, you’re more than welcome!
What do I need to bring?
We encourage attendees to wear what they feel comfortable to dance in. Activewear or the Brent Street merchandise (can be purchased at reception) is a great place to start!
Due to the teachers’ demanding schedule, staff and styles are subject to change at any time. If we do have to replace a staff member, we will let you know and offer an awesome replacement! It’s best to bring all of your shoes/clothes each day, in case there is a last minute change. Please note, there are 25 classes throughout the workshop and over 30 teachers – not all age groups will get all teachers.
We encourage students to prepare lunch, including snacks and water to get you through the day. The workshop is physically demanding so it’s vital that you fuel your body with nutritious foods and plenty of water. The Entertainment Quarter, in which we are located, offers a variety of food and beverage vendors, however please be aware that only ages 13+ are permitted to leave Brent Street during the lunch break. 12 years and under will be supervised in our internal quadrangle.
I can no longer attend the workshop - what do I do?
We book and allocate the teachers based on the number of camp tickets sold. Therefore, we do not offer credits or refunds if you are no longer able to attend. If you wish, you may transfer your ticket into someone else’s name and sell the ticket on yourself – just let us know so we can update our records.
If you’re no longer able to attend the workshop due to COVID-19 or other serious injury/illness, please supply us with your doctor’s certificate and/or positive test result and we will be happy to organise a credit for a future workshop.
If I want to buy a camp as a gift for my child. How could I do that?
Please note, this downloadable voucher is not a valid ticket and holds no value. You will need to still purchase a valid ticket for camp.
